This is our Journal! We feature weddings we have planned and coordinated, and helpful evergreen tips for our brides and grooms.
Woodinville wedding weekend was a 4 day event for this couple. We loved the welcome reception that also helped celebrate the father of the bride’s birthday. Guests loved their evening at JM Cellars.
Allie & Adrian's garden wedding at the home where Adrian grew up reflected this couple perfectly. Using their colors of blue & grey we captured the garden feeling with the design.
R + G were married overlooking the Puget Sound in a gorgeous summer garden wedding. After a cocktail hour by the pool, guests then walked through the secret garden pathway…..
Justin & Margot wanted a beautiful NW garden wedding. After looking at many venues they decided on the groom's parents home on Lake Washington…
With just three months to plan, we worked closely with Ryan and Ali to create the wedding of their dreams. We love a challenge and were happy to work with such a sweet couple…
This year we chose "Golden Delicious" as our theme at Willows Lodge. We wanted a NW element to "play off of" for our NW Lodge venue and decided on......apples.
Kate was a bridesmaid in almost a dozen weddings we had planned over the years so when she became engaged to Bjorn, we received the call and of course were thrilled to help with their wedding. The Rainier Club's gold leaf ceilings, crystal chandeliers and elegant staircase were the perfect accents for this Gatsby inspired wedding. The use of soft white feather plumes & crystals in the floral arrangements kept with this theme. A champagne tower started the reception off in style and a streamer exit was the perfect end of the night for this elegant couple.
When you have your wedding at the base of a mountain range, you never know what the weather might be. But this late summer wedding was absolute perfection! Just enough clouds to make the background of Mount Si absolutely stunning and a view that went on for miles. Jaimie and Steven married under a traditional Chuppah. The rabbi that married Jaimie's parents came out of retirement to perform the ceremony for Jaimie & Steven. The pale pinks and light green in the floral arrangements complemented the space and feel of the wedding perfectly. Dancing started with the Horah and went into the late night with everyone having a great time.
Starting at Pike Place Market, Amy & Egan's wedding began with their first glance photos. They then had a traditional Catholic ceremony at Christ Our Hope Church. The guests were then shuttled to an elegant Black & White designed reception at the Seattle Art Museum. Downtown Seattle venues were perfect for this urban couple.
The newly renovated Matthew's Winery in Woodinville offered the perfect venue for our styled shoot this summer. The neutral backdrop of the room allowed us to use bright, vibrant fuchsia colors in the linens and floral for a pop of excitement and fun.
The gold accents on the table paired perfectly with the bright overlay linens to create a passionate and bold design. Styled shoots are a lot of fun and allow us to collaborate with new vendors. Together we created an amazing showcase of talent.
The Olympic Sculpture Park offered the ultimate backdrop for this beautiful summer wedding. The couple, who graduated from University of Washington, went to the beautiful campus for a couple "Bride & Groom" photos. We used succulents throughout the entire wedding, from the bridal bouquets, table décor, cake adornment and even individual live succulents for each guest to take home as a wedding favor. The vibrant oranges & mint greens were the perfect contrast to the steel grey linens. Long farm tables helped accommodate the guest count in the space. We combined ghost chairs and benches to create a fun intimate atmosphere as well as design appeal.
Seattle Met Bride & Groom Magazine asked us to design a Modern Elegance themed tabletop and beverage styled shoot. We chose to use pinks, blush & apricot to offset modern elements like the ghost chairs, mirrored chargers and gold silverware. We used both hanging floral strands and a paper floral background since both are perfectly on trend.
I tell people it is difficult to show what we do as an event planner in a 10'x10' show booth. That is one reason why Weddings in Woodinville is so great!
It allows me to hand pick an amazing team and showcase all our products & services in a wonderful venue so potential clients can see, smell, touch, taste .... experience it first hand.
It's our 6th year and our baby s growing. This year we increased the guest count to 750, we have 8 venues and over 100 vendors. This wine tasting/wedding showcase is now the second largest wedding show in Washington.
Sometimes the story tells you "it was meant to be". This is the story of Rozlyn & Kevin who on their first conversation discovered that his family home was being sold to her family to create a new home and a Woodinville event venue. It was only natural that this was the location of their marriage and celebration. Using whites & greens we created an elegant garden feeling using the bride's favorite flower the orchid.
Alicia came to us stating that she truly believes that it is experiences with loved ones that is the best gift one can give/receive so we planned a very special celebration for her husband.
Months in the making we made sure the menu was mostly organic, the cake had to be chocolate and we ordered perfect weather for a round of golf.
This was an epic garden wedding that we were thrilled to work on. Bloedel Reserve only has done a handful of weddings EVER. This garden reserve has a Chinese zen garden, pond with swans, trees over 100 years old and a moss garden.
We consider a wedding less than 30 people to be an elopement, up to 100 a small wedding and 250 guests average size for Seattle and 300+ a large scale wedding. We loved planning and designing this elopement bc (before covid).
